Snow Days

Here is a picture of our front yard before the snow storm last night and before the storm we are supposed to be getting tomorrow.

New Year's Eve and some snow!

Cole and Kaydra prepare for New Year's Eve festivities. They each had a few friends over to help them celebrate the new year. They had fun running outside to make some noise at midnight. It was a little on the cold side so they weren't out for long. We also had some friends and family over to and celebrate. We all had a wonderful evening!

Here's a picture of some of the snow we've had so far this year. This was taken a couple of weeks ago so its a bit outdated. We have more now.

We've been having fun building snow forts in the front yard. What began as a small indent in the side of a snowbank has evolved into a little snow community, complete with walkways, tunnels, and snow chairs!

Cole and Claire play in the snow fort. Claire loves the snow, but usually returns indoors a little sooner than the other kids.
